Lobar haemorrhages

In contrast, the plain CT scans of the 3 cases shown here (Figures 1 to 3) are from patients with lobar haemorrhages involving the left frontal lobe, left parieto-occipital lobes and right frontal lobe respectively. In the third case, the cerebral haemorrhage is causing significant mass effect and the contents of the right cerebral hemisphere can be seen shifting towards the left (“mid-line shift“).
